Our guitar course for kids is designed specifically for budding musicians aged 6 to 14. It is an exciting and educational journey into the world of music, which helps to develop not only musical skills, but also discipline, creativity and self-confidence. Learning takes place in a friendly and supportive atmosphere using modern techniques to make the process as interesting and effective as possible.
The course includes both individual and group lessons, giving children the opportunity to learn both at their own pace and as a team, socializing and playing together with their peers. Our experienced teachers pay attention to each child, adapting the program to their needs and abilities.
Children’s Guitar Course Program:
- Familiarization with the instrument: guitar structure, tuning;
- Basics of correct hand positioning and seating;
- Learning the correct sound production (with plectrum and fingers);
- Simple chords (A, D, E, G, C, etc.);
- Learning basic rhythmic patterns;;
- Working with a metronome;
- Learning simple rhythmic exercises and fingerings;
- Playing to music and developing your ear;
- What are notes, chords and tablature;
- How to read tablature and chord diagrams;
- Simple musical terms and symbols;
- Playing favorite children’s and contemporary songs on the guitar;
- Learning popular melodies from cartoons and movies;
- Collective performance of songs in a group;
- Introduction to group playing: playing with other students;
- Harmony and accompaniment basics;
- Interaction with other instruments (percussion, vocals);
- Simple exercises to develop musical imagination;
- First steps in improvisation;
- Practicing public performances in student recitals;
- Support and development of self-confidence;
- Group concerts and solo performances in front of an audience;
- Assessment of each student’s progress;
- Personalized recommendations for further training;
- Presentation of course completion certificates.
Course duration: 3-6 months (depending on beginning level and progress).
Class format: 45-60 minutes, 1-2 times a week (both face-to-face and online classes are available).
